How good is the quality of ESPI insulators?
At ESPI, every production batch of ESP insulators is tested in accordance with IEC standards. This includes visual inspection, dimensional verification, thermal cycling, DC withstand voltage testing at both high and room temperatures, and porosity testing. Additionally, we routinely carry out a compressive strength test under a 30-ton load. All these tests are performed on each batch during production. The insulators are then packed in plywood boxes that meet international fumigation standards, ready for overseas shipment. Customers can choose between grey and brown glaze finishes. In some cases, ESP insulators may also be used without glaze, especially when made of high-alumina ceramics.
